The Dormston Centre was built with funding from The National Lottery and Sport England and was officially opened in April 2000. At the heart of The Centre is a 350 seat, purpose-built theatre and bar which is home to some of the best Amateur Dramatic companies in the region. 

The Centre takes great pride in its sports facilities, boasting a 3G artificial football pitch, a large indoor sports hall to accommodate an array of sports from Football to Badminton, in combination with school facilities such as a smaller sports hall and specific dance and drama studio creates a home for a diverse range of activities for the North Dudley and surrounding Area. Our resident bookings include Stagecoach Performing Arts, NN Cheer Dance Academy and School of Blackbelts Martial Arts Academy.

We commit to offer the finest facilities at affordable prices, customers are introduced through the large foyer with a welcoming atmosphere where we strive to provide the ability our community and clubs to hire, perform and participate in an array of activities. 

We also take huge pride in our Community Education Programme, which offers a plethora of adult courses suitable for all abilities from Sign Language, to Guitar for beginners enabling you to pursue new skills and hobbies in a friendly, relaxed environment.

The Dormston Centre currently has further capacity and would like to invite imaginative and talented groups, clubs and individuals to bring new and exciting activities into our community.
