At Dormston we place great importance on smart appearance. We expect all of our students to wear the full school uniform correctly, and with pride. This applies both in school, outside and when travelling to and from Dormston.
If in any doubt about a particular item of clothing, please contact the school before purchasing to avoid your child not meeting our uniform regulations.
Dormston house logo on the school jumper and summer polo shirt are optional but not required. Please make sure that you select the correct house colour when purchasing your uniform.

In order to take part in the school’s Physical Education programme students must have as a minimum:
BASIC COMPULSORY PE KIT – FOR ALL PE LESSONS
➢Black/Purple Polo PE Top with logo (from uniform suppliers only)
➢Plain Black Shorts (tight fitting /cycling shorts/ Nike Pro NOT ALLOWED)
or Plain Black tracksuit bottoms / jogging bottoms (only small logo allowed)
➢Plain Black sports socks (any make)
➢Trainers (any colour or make permitted)
OPTIONAL EXTRA KIT
➢Black /Purple leggings (from uniform suppliers only)
➢Black / Purple ¼ zip long sleeved training top with logo (from uniform suppliers only)
➢Football boots are advisable (no metal studs)
Skorts
Skorts will no longer be permitted as part of the PE kit.
All current PE kit items, except for the skort, may continue to be worn from September. These items will be gradually phased out as families purchase replacement kit.
The school summer uniform can be worn from the start of the summer term up until the end of the school year.
Both boys and girls are allowed to wear the school polo shirt (purchased from uniform suppliers only) which is branded with the school logo on the front and the house logo on the left sleeve.
House logo is optional but not required but please make sure that you purchase the correct house colour for your child.
Knee length tailored shorts (Trutex Grey) (No cargo/PE Shorts) can be worn.
School jumpers must still be worn during the summer term unless permission is granted otherwise. Students can continue to wear their winter uniform if desired; however they must comply with the winter uniform rules.
